These appointments form part of our fundamental commitment to customers and patients. The decontamination of medical devices is a critical service in the delivery of patient care. The post holders will be part of a multidisciplinary team which is responsible for the preparation, quality assurance, sterilisation and distribution of surgical instruments to operating theatres. The successful candidates duties will include Collection, Disassembly, Washing, Inspection, Packing and Sterilisation of contaminated medical devices, whilst critically, complying with all legislative documentation and instructions.
Candidates should have proven experience in a sterile services environment and in possession of or working towards qualification in Decontamination. Candidates should have basic computer literacy skills along with proven team working and communication skills. |
